Open Your Drainage Pathways: A Crucial Step in Your Detox Journey

· Dr. Wendy Quijada Hansen, PharmD
Open your drainage pathways for detox

Detoxification is an important process to eliminate toxins from our bodies. However, before beginning any detox program, it's crucial to ensure that your drainage pathways are open and functioning properly; otherwise, the toxins will not be eliminated and will recirculate in your body. This blog post will explore the significance of open drainage pathways and provide you with practical tips to support them on your detox journey.

Understanding Drainage Pathways

Imagine your body's drainage pathways as a funnel, with the colon at its foundation. When the colon becomes congested, it can hinder the liver and bile ducts' function, leading to a cascade of issues impacting other detoxification organs like the skin, lungs, and kidneys. Even the lymphatic system, responsible for waste removal, can be affected, causing issues with other organs and tissues like our brain—resulting in brain fog and headaches. This dysfunction also affects our cells and specifically our mitochondria, which generate energy in our body.

Prioritizing Drainage Pathways

To optimize toxin elimination and support the health of your cells' mitochondria, follow these recommendations to jumpstart your detox journey and open your drainage pathways.

These products are from Cellcore Biosciences. Register at Cellcore and use my direct code: URpsyqxv.

  1. Use the Jumpstart Kit from Cellcore: This kit provides energy, mitochondrial support, and helps open drainage pathways, setting the stage for a successful detoxification journey.
  2. Incorporate the Bowel Mover supplement: Regular bowel movements are crucial for eliminating toxins. Aim for 2–3 bowel movements per day to increase the removal of waste and toxins from your body.
  3. Support the liver and bile function with Tudca: Tudca is a supplement that helps maintain optimal liver function and can be complemented by coffee enemas. Coffee enemas stimulate bile flow, facilitating the release of toxins from the liver. (See my Detox Guide for protocol details.)
  4. Support kidneys and liver detoxification with the KL support Cellcore supplements. These supplements specifically target kidney and liver health, aiding in the detoxification process.
  5. Help improve your lymphatic system function: Dry brushing, lymphatic massage, vibration plate exercises, and jumping exercises can all contribute to enhancing lymphatic system function. Consider adding LymphActiv from Cellcore to further support lymphatic health. I also recommend a vibration plate to help move the lymph.
  6. Utilize the Drainage Activator from Cellcore, which helps extracellular matrix drainage, aids liver function, and supports lymphatics and immune systems. The drainage activator is a personal favorite of mine and for my clients, as they are able to detox more effectively after adding it to their detox regimen.
  7. Support lung health with saline nebulization: Saline nebulization helps remove toxins from the respiratory system, promoting lung health and efficient detoxification. I recommend a specific saline solution and nebulizer for this.
  8. Sweat it out with infrared sauna sessions: Utilize infrared sauna sessions to aid in detoxification by promoting sweating and eliminating toxins through the skin. The Therasage portable sauna is my favorite—use discount code: wqholystic.
  9. Stay well-hydrated and opt for distilled or reverse-osmosis purified water: Hydration is key during detoxification, and choosing purified water helps minimize exposure to contaminants. The water purifier I'm currently using the most is the AquaTru Carafe.

Conclusion

Opening and supporting your drainage pathways is a crucial step in any detox journey. By prioritizing the health of your drainage pathways, you can optimize toxin elimination and support the overall well-being of your body. Remember to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any detox program and tailor it to your specific needs.
